Lower Langa

Serralunga is a typical medieval town. From the castle it is possible to see its structure: the houses are built around the castle, in this way it was easy for people to take shelter there in case of war.

Montelupo owes its particular name to an ancient legend according to which the place where it is located was once inhabited by wolves.

The name of the village derives from the Celtic "bas reul", a low place, as in fact it is compared to other town in the area.
