    The castle of Piozzo was built in the tenth century and its grandeur indicates that the village was an important place in the defensive strategy of the last centuries.

    Novello is a nice town, with a few houses on the top of a hill. Its neogothic style castle dominates the town from the cliff.

    Narzole is located in a wide valley surrounded by several watercourses: the Tanaro river and the Mondalavia and Giuminella streams. The town boasts a long wine tradition.

  • Monchiero

    The name of the village derives from the Latin word "mons clarus", perhaps due to the beautiful geographical position of the upper part of the country.

  • Lequio Tanaro – Parrochiale

    The main activity in Lequio is agriculture, with mixed cultivations of vine, wheat, maize and beans. In the woods you can find fine white truffles, as well as excellent mushrooms.

    Grinzane Cavour is 6 kilometers away from Alba, on the road to Barolo and Monforte. Placed on a hill and surrounded by vineyards, the town is dominated by its medieval castle.

  • RODDI

    The town, of ancient origins, at the time of the Romans was a center of connection between the nearby Alba Pompeia and the then great Pollentia. Its historic core is perched around the castle and the bell tower from the thirteenth century.

    The village is situated in the centre of the Moscato wine area. It’s a very ancient town, though almost nothing is left of the ancient buildings and monuments.

    The village is characterized by its impressive castle, built by the Astigeans in the second half of the 13th century after their defeat against Alba in Cossano.

    The castle in Castiglione was a defensive feature of the powerful Falletti family. Nowadays the territory of the town is entirely included in the docg Barolo wine area.
