High Langa

    Few ruins that emerge from a small hill reveal the ancient history of this small town at the bottom of the valley which today offers the visitor some rather suggestive churches.

  • Feisoglio panorama

    This little town is placed on the right side of the Belbo river and is surrounded by hazelnut-trees woods. Here the farming of hazelnuth began in the early Thirties.

  • Lequio Berria – Centro storico

    Lequio Berria is located in an excellent panoramic position, which allows you to admire a large number of villages of Langa perched on the surrounding hills.

  • GOTTASECCA

    The name of the village is linked to the drought of this area of the Alta Langa, which has always been poor in water.

  • Cerretto Langhe – panorama

    Cerretto Langhe is built on the hills, and it offers an impressive view. The town’s name comes from the presence of a particular tree, the turkey oak, still today present on the Belbo river’s sides.

  • Panorama -Sale Delle Langhe

    The town is surrounded by a green valley covered with woods, perfect for walks, and has a little historical centre, where you can admire the town hall palace, the parish church dedicated to Maria Vergine Assunta and the chapel of San Lorenzo.

    Paroldo is a village of the Alta Langa, and its economy is based on agriculture and animal farming.

    Mombarcaro, once called Monte delle Barche (Boats Mount), is the summit of the Langhe: from here you can get a great view, and also see the Ligurian Sea.

    Stretched on a small hillside at 600 meters above sea level, it has an ancient stone door with the Del Carretto coat of arms, and a medieval bridge over the Belbo river, at the entrance of the town.

    On the road from Dogliani to Bossolasco you will run into this small village. Among its few houses, you'll notice the church of San Donato, built in 1480.

  • Noccioleti e vista di Cravanzana (CN)

    The town is one of the most important centers in the production of hazelnuts. The upper part of Cravanzana houses the historic center that is clustered around the parish church and the mighty medieval castle.

  • Niella Belbo – Panorama

    The town is surrounded by woods and streams and its centre offers a beautiful view over the valley.
