Autumn Tour of Val Tanaro
2 Nights + 8 Experiences
Three days in Alta Val Tanaro to discover its hidden treasures among mills, tastings, cooking classes, and the mysterious sword dance
This 3-day tour in Alta Val Tanaro is designed for those who want to discover the territory starting from what makes it recognizable: its agricultural products, the people who cultivate them, and the traditions that accompany them. It starts from the idea of ‘from garden to table‘: harvesting, cooking classes, tastings, and guided meetings allow you to understand why here the potato, the Bagnasco White Bean, or the Nucetto Chickpea are not just ingredients, but part of the local identity.
Alongside the gastronomic aspect, there is a look at the living traditions of the valley: the in-depth exploration of the rare ‘sword dance,’ the visit to the mill with a snack of baked goods, the stop at the wine bar, and the possible visit to the Ethnographic Museum help to contextualize the territory and give meaning to the products you will taste. These are moments designed to connect with places and people, without forcing, in an informal atmosphere.
The last day adds a natural and artisan dimension, with a forest outing guided by a foraging expert (with a focus on plants, fruits, or mushrooms depending on the season) and a visit to a basket-weaving workshop. This tour is suitable for adults, families, and small groups, with limited spots
