The End of Spring Festival: from the "Walk to Fall in Love" to the Rose Park I ed.

An unmissable hike in the hills of Alta Langa….to fall in love with an enchanting landscape, a bursting nature, a small village of Alta Langa, Somano, set in the emerald green hills, its roots and its flavors….

Starting from the historic center of Somano, a small and secluded village located on a scenic hillside, we will touch on points of great scenic, artistic and historical interest.

We will walk a storytelling path known as “the walk to fall in love” where, at scenic and particularly significant points, special wooden benches and interesting installations will introduce us to the most authentic Langa through the words and reflections of writers and personalities connected to the area.

We will connect to the Bossolasco area by reaching the Pian della Croce and the Hill of Resistance, a timeless witness and guardian of tragic historical events to reach the “Portofino of the Langhe,” Bossolasco and walk along the panoramic balcony of the Rose Park .

We will return to Somano enjoying the colorful spring blooms and precious wild orchids and touching on another place of special historical interest: the Resistance Monument “dedicated to ISLAFRAN partisans.

A group named after the initials of the three nations of its members: Italians, SLAvians, FRANCIANS.

Given its location on the trails around the village the monument is also, pragmatically, a refuge.”

The Spring Festival, the Langa aperitif and and the “Scavalca Montagne”

Upon returning to the village, for those who wish, The Spring Festival awaits us: an aperitif with local products and wines, followed by the theatrical performance “Recipes and Symphonies” Turnèe on the road with the Itinerant Company Scavalca Montagne.
