Have you ever dreamed of flying over the UNESCO World Heritage hills while the sun illuminates vineyards and historic villages?

Imagine the suspended silence of the air, the gaze lost among the hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, the orderly rows of vines that shape the landscape and the castles with small villages emerging among the vineyards.

Let the wind carry you. The Langhe await you from above.

With Aeronord Aerostati you can turn this dream into reality, in every season of the year.

Thanks to a team of experienced professionals and family management that takes care of every detail with passion, each flight becomes an exclusive and unforgettable experience.

How the flight takes place

The experience begins at the departure point, where the pilot welcomes you with a brief briefing and accompanies you through one of the most fascinating moments of the adventure: the inflation of the balloon.

When the balloon takes shape and slowly rises, it is the signal that the journey is about to begin.

You take off and, for about an hour, you float gently in the sky letting yourself be carried by the wind, while your gaze embraces the landscape from a unique perspective.

At the end of the flight, you return to the starting point, where the experience concludes with a breakfast, aperitif at an agriturismo, or a visit to a local winery, depending on the flight time.

Whether you are organizing a special occasion, looking for a surprising gift or simply want to experience the territory from a different perspective, a hot air balloon flight is the experience that can truly make your stay unique.

A story that
begins in 1960

in Barolo

The history of Aeronord Aerostati has its roots far back in time and stems from an authentic passion for flight.

The founder, Enzo Cisaro, was for decades the only Italian free gas balloon pilot and one of the most experienced aeronauts on the national scene.

He began flying balloons in 1967 and in his extraordinary career can boast crossing the Alps, participating in 9 World Championships and numerous Italian and international competitions, including two editions of the prestigious Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett.

For over twenty years he was a delegate of the Aero Club of Italy to the International Technical Commission of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, as well as serving as president of the Technical Commission for Aerostatics. Under his leadership, Aeronord organized pioneering and spectacular events, such as the first and second Coppa Aerostatica Città di Milano, the Coppa Henkel and many other events dedicated to the true queens of the sky: hot air balloons.

Today the company is led by Claudia, Enzo's daughter, who after an important career in Italian and international multinationals and in the world of advertising, chose to bring her skills in communication and event organization into Aeronord.

With energy, vision and openness to new challenges, together with her sister Raffaella she has created innovative projects such as the Festival del Volo and the Balloon Cup, helping to renew and expand the ballooning experience in Italy.

Aeronord's mission is clear: to spread the culture of ballooning through unique events, premium products and services, and passenger flights capable of delivering authentic emotions.

Frequently asked questions

Some curiosities, for you flying for the first time

The Aeronord Aerostati team is composed of highly experienced pilots, specialized technicians in aerostats and hot air balloons. A close-knit group that takes care of every detail to guarantee quality and, above all, an impeccable experience.

How does a hot air balloon fly?

The hot air balloon rises because the air inside the balloon is warmer and therefore lighter than the outside air. The pilot regulates the altitude by heating or cooling the air with the burner.

How fast does a hot air balloon go?

It flies slowly, between 5 and 15 km/h, following the wind. It is “slow tourism” that allows you to enjoy the scenery in total relaxation.

Is it safe to fly in a hot air balloon?

Yes, the hot air balloon is a certified aircraft subject to regular inspections. The pilots are experienced and fly only in optimal weather conditions.

Is it cold in a hot air balloon?

No, the burner maintains a comfortable temperature even in winter. Layered clothing is recommended to adapt to different moments of the flight.

At what altitude does a hot air balloon fly?

The altitude varies depending on the location and wind; in Piedmont it can exceed 600 meters.

Do you get vertigo?

Generally no. The flight is gentle, very different from the sensation of looking down from a skyscraper.

Where does the hot air balloon land?

The direction is guided by the wind, so each landing is unique. The pilot uses currents at different altitudes to steer the balloon and then the team accompanies passengers back to the starting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?

The flight is rescheduled and the ticket remains valid.

Can everyone fly?

The activity is suitable from 6 years old (minimum height 120 cm) and requires good health.

How should you dress?

In layers, long pants and closed sports shoes. It is also better to bring a small bottle of water.
