The night of wishes. Trekking under the stars on the night of San Lorenzo

A walk from sunset to evening through the most suggestive places of the Roero, to a meadow where you can toast, make wishes, and be enchanted by shooting stars.

A special night, that of San Lorenzo, to be experienced slowly, following the paths as day gives way to night.

The walk

We will set off at sunset for a trek of about 8.5 km, crossing some of the most suggestive places in the Roero, among panoramas, paths, and views that take on a special charm in the evening light.

We will walk together until the sky turns dark and the first stars begin to light up above us.

Under the shooting stars

At the end of the walk, our destination will be the meadow of a farmhouse, where we will stop away from the lights to experience the most awaited moment: the night of San Lorenzo under a starry sky.

We will lie on the grass, look up at the sky, and wait for the shooting stars.

Because this is the night of wishes: the one where a streak of light crosses the sky and reminds us to stop, look up, and wish for something.

The toast to the night of San Lorenzo

And while we wait for our shooting star, we will enjoy a toast under the stars, accompanied by wine and snacks, to end the evening with an extraordinary apericena: good wine, something to taste, and an entire sky above our heads.

Program

Meeting at 7:00 PM at Piazza Roma, Monteu Roero.

Departure at 7:15 PM.

Route length (path + historic center) approximately 8.5 km.

Total elevation gain 350 m.

Excursion of great interest: scenic, naturalistic, geological and historical.

Excursion led by tourist guide and AIGAE environmental hiking guide, Piedmont Region, with narration of the territory.

We recommend trekking boots, comfortable clothing suitable for the evening, a headlamp, and a towel or blanket to lie on the grass.
