It was a dark and cold night and the doctor in Perletto was in his bed. His maid woke him up saying that someone had called because they needed him in a house outside of the village. The doctor prepared his carriage and left. While he wae traveling in the middle of the country he heard a child’s voice calling from the side of the road.<\/p>\n

He stopped, loked and found a little child, a few months old, naked and crying. He took him up and protected him from the cold under his coat, then kept running to the house where he was going.<\/p>\n

Right then ane bells sang the Ave Maria and the doctor crossed himself. Suddenly, a cold wind started blowing and a voice out of nowhere shouted “Kill him, kill him”.<\/p>\n

The child that the doctor was holding answered “I can’t this bastard has crossed himself”. The doctor was very scared and opened his coat.<\/p>\n

A little ugly monster flew away and disappeared.<\/p>\n
