Thursday 14 July- Mod\u00e0<\/h2>\n

The opening act, which will have the honor and burden of inaugurating the first night of concerts<\/strong>, is Mod\u00e0<\/a>!<\/p>\n

The eighth edition of Barolo’s<\/a> music and literature festival<\/strong> will open with the only summer date for Kekko Silvestre’s band<\/strong>. Tickets are still available, but you better hurry up!<\/p>\n

Friday 15 July – Elton John and His Band<\/h2>\n
\"Elton<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

After 43 years since his last concert in Piedmont<\/strong> Elton John<\/a> returns to Italy for his world tour<\/strong> and has chosen to make a stop in Barolo.<\/p>\n

The band will be presenting its new album<\/strong>, Wonderful Crazy Night, along of course with the hits that have made the singer an international star.<\/p>\n

The concert, a sort of making up for the concert that had to be canceled in 2013 due to health problems, promises to be a formidable show, absolutely not to be missed.<\/p>\n

Saturday 16 July – Marco Mengoni<\/h2>\n
\"Marco<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

The summer tour<\/strong> of the singer-songwriter, who just got back from his first concert in Madrid, will be making a stop at Collisioni 2016<\/strong>. In addition to his great hits from the past, Marco Mengoni<\/a> will be presenting unreleased work from his latest album<\/strong>, Le cose che non ho, which came out last December.<\/p>\n

Tickets are still available, but his two May concert dates<\/strong> were completely sold out<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Sunday 17 July – Mika<\/h2>\n
\"Mika\"<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

This concert is already sold out<\/strong>: 5,000 tickets sold in just 40 minutes! Mika\u00a0<\/a>too has a concert date \u201cto make up for\u201d in the festival’s sixth edition.<\/p>\n

The pop star who’s back from his European tour (completely sold out), will present his latest album released last year: No Pale in Heaven.<\/p>\n

Monday 18 July – Negramaro and Niccol\u00f2 Fabi<\/h2>\n
\"fabi<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

And here’s the grand finale<\/strong>: a double concert<\/strong> with Negramaro<\/a> and Niccol\u00f2 Fabi.<\/p>\n

Negramaro, who got their name from the famous grape variety in Salento<\/strong>, will be playing songs from their new album<\/strong>, La Rivoluzione sta arrivando, in Barolo, and will be preceded on stage by the famous singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Niccol\u00f2 Fabi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tickets and the arena<\/h2>\n

The concerts in the latest editions<\/strong> of Collisioni were criticized<\/strong> from a security and usability point of view: \u201ctoo many people, crowds, the piazza was too full\u201d.<\/p>\n

So this year the famous Piazza Rossa will be converted into an arena, capable of accommodating up to 10,000 people.<\/p>\n
