Its medieval town center develops in <strong>two concentric circles<\/strong> that physically wrap around the castle, the undisputed emblem of the village. <\/p>\n\n<p>The particular urban layout has created a <strong>network of narrow streets<\/strong> that open onto wide panoramic viewpoints. Here, the view stretches across the Langa, both Alta and Bassa, all the way to the <strong>Alps<\/strong>. The best vantage point? The <a href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/en\/sight\/the-serralunga-dalba-castle\/\">castle<\/a>, of course!   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-landscape-lg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" d\u2019Alba ProLoco, and LoveLanghe with the opening of the info-point and the creation of <strong>two walks<\/strong> led by a tour guide\u2014free of charge and designed to help people discover and class=\"wp-block-heading\">The guided walks<\/h2>\n\n<p>What better way to get to know Serralunga than by <strong>walking<\/strong>? In recent years, outdoor tourism has seen <a href=\"https:\/\/humancompany.com\/it\/news\/osservatorio-turismo-outdoor-piepoli-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rapid growth<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Due to the frantic pace of daily life, we increasingly feel the need to slow down and experience the <strong>outdoors as much as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>These experiences must be <strong>authentic<\/strong> and bring us into <strong>contact with the cultural identity<\/strong> of the place we are visiting, making us feel like an integral part of the local community. <\/p>\n\n<p>These reflections led to the creation of the two guided walks. Both last <strong>about an hour, starting from Piazza Umberto I<\/strong>, in front of the Info-Point, and ending at the Castle. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cStrolling with the Locals\u201d &#8211; 11:00 AM<\/h2>\n\n<p>In some ways, this is the more &#8220;classic&#8221; tour, but with a unique touch. Along with the tour guide, there is a <em>local<\/em>, a <strong>true Serralunghese<\/strong>, who will enrich the route with stories about daily life in the village and more! <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Anecdotes<\/strong> and <strong>curiosities<\/strong> are the true <strong>stars<\/strong> of this tour: there are mentions of pallapugno, a deeply felt local sport, and the ancient tradition of <strong>winemaking<\/strong>, emblematic of one of the 11 Barolo municipalities. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"quote quote--is-big accent\">\n<p><strong>Every tour is different<\/strong>; it changes depending on the local resident present and their personal experiences, as well as the interests of the audience.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>What remains constant is <strong>getting in touch with the most genuine<\/strong> and authentic side of Serralunga. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discovering Cugn\u00e0 &#8211; 3:30 PM<\/h2>\n\n<p>The focus of the second walk is <em><a href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/en\/recipes\/cogna-salsa-duva\/\">Cugn\u00e0<\/a><\/em>, a Piedmontese grape must condiment made with late-summer farm produce leftovers.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is a <strong>completely different experience<\/strong> from the previous one: it is an <strong>interactive and multimedia tour<\/strong>, available in both paper and digital versions via QR code. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-landscape-lg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"875\" src=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/gat_dus_cugna-1400x875.jpg\" alt=\"Gat Dus - Cugn&#xE0;\" class=\"wp-image-287891\" srcset=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/gat_dus_cugna-1400x875.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/gat_dus_cugna-900x563.jpg 900w, https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/gat_dus_cugna-550x344.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Cugn\u00e0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>Along the way, participants are <strong>asked to solve puzzles<\/strong> and <strong>riddles<\/strong> to identify the <strong>most common ingredients<\/strong> used in the preparation of <em>Cugn\u00e0<\/em>.
