There are artists who do not simply represent a place<\/strong>: they inhabit it, listen to it and transform it into a personal language.<\/p>\n\n

Luigi Carbone<\/strong> belongs to this category: his works are born from a continuous dialogue with Langhe<\/strong>, from an intimate relationship with the hills that saw him grow up and that still feed his imagination today.<\/p>\n\n

On April 10 at 4:30 PM<\/strong>, an exhibition dedicated to his work<\/a> opens and will be on view until April 27, 2026, a journey through landscapes, emotions<\/strong> and memories<\/strong>, offering visitors the vision of an artist who has made his land an inexhaustible source of poetry.<\/p>\n\n

The works: Langa as a place of the soul<\/h2>\n\n

In Carbone’s paintings, Langa is never a simple backdrop. It is a living presence<\/strong>, changing, capable of surprising. <\/p>\n\n

His hills become traveling companions, welcoming islands where being shipwrecked does not mean getting lost, but rediscovering a sense of belonging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The fog<\/strong> that creeps between the rows of vines, the moon<\/strong> that dances like a kite in the blue sky, the lights<\/strong> that soften the profiles of the hills: everything contributes to creating a suspended atmosphere<\/strong>, in which reality intertwines with vision.<\/p>\n\n

Carbone says he almost always starts from reality, from what he sees every day, but then lets imagination transform the landscape<\/strong> into something more personal.<\/p>\n\n

This is how the moon can become a hot air balloon<\/strong>, or how light figures can appear in the sky. The colors<\/strong> chase each other as if they had a life of their own, drawing closer and moving apart with the naturalness of those holding hands. <\/p>\n\n

Langa, in his canvases, is not described, it is evoked, and Carbone interprets it with the sweetness of lights and chromatic harmonies<\/strong>, transforming it into a landscape that reconciles, that seduces, that invites contemplation. Certi giorni in Langa<\/em> is also the title of a book<\/strong> written by Carbone together with photographer Malvina Manera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The meaning<\/strong> is simple and profound<\/strong>: there are days when life weighs heavy<\/strong>, but Langa<\/strong> \u2014 with its beauty, its quiet, its light \u2014 helps to regain balance<\/strong> and hope.<\/p>\n\n

The artist: a life dedicated to beauty<\/h2>\n\n

Luigi Carbone, born in Lequio Berria<\/a>, is a painter<\/strong>, sculptor<\/strong>, writer and drawing teacher.<\/p>\n\n

His career has led him to participate in numerous international cultural events<\/strong>, from Saint Petersburg to Lyon, from Nowy Sacz to Monte Carlo, to Zadar, Yvetot and Vernon.<\/p>\n\n

He has exhibited in prestigious venues<\/strong> such as Palazzo Priori in Assisi, the “Vecchia Milano” gallery, the State Museum of Fine Arts in Yaroslavl, Saint Vincent, Turin, Genoa, Cremona, Sulzburg, Alba, Cuneo and Asti.<\/p>\n\n
