The historic Berta Distilleries<\/a> in Mombaruzzo<\/strong> opened the doors of their renovated museum space called the Berta Museum<\/strong> on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.<\/p>\n\n

The new exhibit represents the evolution of a journey that began decades ago and has now been completely transformed into an interactive and immersive experience<\/strong> worthy of Europe’s most modern industrial museums<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Conceived by Turin-based studio MindTheGap<\/strong>, the project took more than a year to complete and aims to tell the story of the Berta universe. <\/p>\n\n

The exhibition path<\/h2>\n\n

Animmersive experience<\/strong> that recounts the origins of Italian distilling<\/strong> intertwined with the all-Piedmontese welcome<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The itinerary is divided into three thematic areas<\/strong>, enriched by visual languages<\/strong> and multimedia content<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

History<\/h3>\n\n

The first part is a plunge into history. Founded by Paolo Berta<\/strong> in 1947<\/strong>, the company comes to life in material evidence that preserves its memory<\/strong> and identity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Original documents, period photographs<\/strong>, historical recipes and symbolic relics-such as the first production license and the key to the first door-illustrate the company’s birth and trace its evolution.<\/p>\n\n

People<\/h3>\n\n

Sound installations<\/strong> celebrate the hospitality and community that revolves around the distilleries, from employees to guests at accommodations such as the Villa Prato<\/strong> Charming Residence<\/strong> and Relais Villa Castelletto.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Sound installations<\/strong> pay tribute to the hospitality and community that revolves around the distilleries-from employees to guests at accommodations, such as the Villa Prato Charming Residence<\/a> and Relais Villa Castelletto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Grappa<\/h3>\n\n

The last section is dedicated to grappa: the production heart of the company takes shape among stills<\/strong>, vintage bottles<\/strong> and a unique collection of historical glasses<\/strong> and labels<\/strong>. A fascinating journey into the world of distillation, among objects that tell the story of craftsmanship knowledge passed down through time. <\/p>\n\n

The tour ends with a symbolic piece: the famous 3-liter bottle with Swarovski cap<\/strong>, a tribute to Paolo Berta and his vision.<\/p>\n\n

Firm roots, broad horizons<\/h2>\n\n

The inauguration was attended by the full Berta family, flanked by institutional representatives such as the Mayor of Mombaruzzo Carla Luigina Scarrone<\/strong> the Mayor and President of the Province of Asti Maurizio Rasero<\/strong> and many other special guests.<\/p>\n\n

The images from the event \u2013 filled with smiles, toasts, and shelves lined with fine grappas \u2013 speak louder than words about the identity of a company<\/strong> that has turned the art of distillation into a true family vocation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

With the opening of the museum, the Berta world<\/strong> is enriched with a new piece.<\/p>\n\n
