He appreciated the high quality of this wine so much that he decided to buy the near estate of the Verduno\u2019s castle, to become himself a producer.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century, Barolo was exported outside national boundaries.<\/p>\n<div class=\"caption__container content__image alignright size-full\"><div class=\"ratio\"><div class=\"ratio__content\"><a href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/?attachment_id=2710\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2710\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2710\" src=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Barolo-2006-DOCG-C\u00e0-Neuva1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Barolo-2006-DOCG-C\u00e0-Neuva1.jpg 248w, https:\/\/langhe.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Barolo-2006-DOCG-C\u00e0-Neuva1-207x250.jpg 207w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 248px) 100vw, 248px\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><p class=\"caption__text\">Barolo 2006 DOCG C\u00e0 Neuva<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Today Barolo is well-known all over the world, it can be found in the best restaurants and is an Italian excellence that many envy but nobody can imitate.<\/p>\n<p>The winery <a title=\"C\u00e0 Neuva\" href=\"http:\/\/shop.langhe.net\/en\/producers\/ca-neuva-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">C\u00e0 Neuva<\/a> of Dogliani introduced Barolo in the range of its wines in order to fulfil the demand of its customers. Today we are tasting <a href=\"http:\/\/caneuva.com\/wines\/barolo-docg-2006\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barolo DOCG 2006<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The wine should be served in a Balloon glass, because it allows mature and full-bodied red wines (in this case Barolo) to \u201cbreathe\u201d, enhancing its aromas.<\/p>\n<p>Garnet red in colour with orange hints, this Barolo has a wide but intense nose with notes of ripe fruit and spice like clove and black pepper.<\/p>\n<p>In the mouth it is dry, warm, rich in tannins with a long and persistent finish.<\/p>\n<p>An important wine should be paired with an important course.
