{"id":2689,"date":"2011-12-06T14:58:01","date_gmt":"2011-12-06T13:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.langhe.net\/?p=2689"},"modified":"2017-09-25T17:30:49","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T15:30:49","slug":"doc-langhe-favorita-2010-giacomo-vico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/langhe.net\/en\/2689\/doc-langhe-favorita-2010-giacomo-vico\/","title":{"rendered":"Langhe Favorita DOC 2010 &#8211; Giacomo Vico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Giacomo Vico<\/strong>&#8216;s winery, set on the beautiful Roero hills close to Canale d&#8217;Alba, produces since the 19 Century\u00a0those good piedmontese wines typical of the area.<\/p>\n<p>It is from this canteen that comes from the good white wine I have tasted: the\u00a0<strong>Favorita D.o.c. 2010<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Favorita\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/vines\/favorita-en\/?lang=en\">Favorita<\/a>\u00a0is a variety of white grape cultivated in over 90 minicipalities in the province of Cuneo, mainly in the Roero, Langhe and Astigiano&#8217;s hilly areas.<\/p>\n<p>Vinified in purity (100% Favorita grapes) it is straw yellow in colour with light green and golden nuances.<\/p>\n<p>The aroma is rich, delicate and aromatic with clear fruity hints (yellow peach and green apple) and floreal (jasmine, wisteria and sage).<\/p>\n<p>The taste is dry with 13 degrees of alcohool, fruity and slightly bitter. It has a very good softness and freshness and presents well balanced levels of acidity and sapidity.<\/p>\n<p>Once you open it you can serve it with appetizers and snacks made of fresh <a href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/food\/cheeses\/?lang=en\">cheese<\/a>, vegetables, cold cuts, omelettes and fish&#8230;enjoying it during an aperitif with friends.<\/p>\n<p>Serve it at a middle temperature of 8-10 degrees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Giacomo Vico&#8216;s winery, set on the beautiful Roero hills close to Canale d&#8217;Alba, produces since the 19 Century\u00a0those good piedmontese wines typical of the area.
