This guide<\/strong> will take you on a discovery of a rich<\/strong> variety of experiences<\/strong> to meet the most diverse tastes and expectations.<\/p>\n\n

From evocative treks<\/strong> among vineyards<\/strong> and medieval castles<\/a>, to peaceful wine and food walks<\/strong> among the hills, to engaging E-bike tours<\/strong> through the picturesque roads of Alta Langa<\/strong>: there is something for every nature<\/strong> andadventure<\/strong> lover.<\/p>\n\n

But in this summer recipe we also add stories of morganas<\/strong> and to the out-of-the-box female<\/strong> figures, enhanced by historical, botanical, artistic and archaeological<\/strong> insights.<\/p>\n\n

Our favorite spices? The vibrant cultural scene of festivals such as Monfortin Jazz<\/strong> and the NuoviMondi Film Festival<\/strong>, which celebrate creativity<\/strong> and innovation<\/strong> with an all-Langhar flavor.<\/p>\n\n

TowerBike<\/h2>\n\n

June 21<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

We start by offering you a guided e-bike tour<\/a> among the verdant hills of Alta Langa with a final panoramic aperitif<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

At 6 p.m<\/strong>., participants will gather<\/strong> in Albaretto della Torre to meet with the Piedmont Region bicycle tour guide, who will provide instruction on e-bike<\/strong> use.<\/p>\n\n

At 6:30<\/strong> pm, the e-bike<\/strong> tour<\/strong> through the enchanting hills of Alta Langa<\/strong> will start, offering breathtaking views<\/strong> along the way. <\/p>\n\n

The tour<\/strong> is also suitable for children<\/strong> (minimum height 140 cm<\/strong> and minimum age 9 years<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n

Around 9<\/strong> p.m., the group will return<\/strong> to Albaretto della Torre to conclude with an atmospheric aperitif<\/strong> with a view. <\/p>\n\n

Participants will enjoy delicious local products<\/strong>, including the renowned IGP Piedmont Hazelnuts<\/strong>, accompanied by a glass of Langhe Rossese<\/strong> from the renowned Castella Winery in Roddino.<\/p>\n\n

June 21,<\/em> June 25, June 28 and July 2<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

How about instead nighttime summer walks<\/a> proposed by the Ecomuseo del Roero<\/strong>, in collaboration with Pro Loco<\/strong> and local associations<\/strong>, inaugurating their 15th edition<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n

They will take place in 19 different municipalities<\/strong> in Roero<\/strong>, with varying itineraries on Tuesdays<\/strong> and Fridays<\/strong> in June<\/strong>, July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Each walk lasts about 2 hours<\/strong>, which includes animations<\/strong> or insights<\/strong>, for an average of 5 km<\/strong> of trail.<\/p>\n\n

These walks end with a final snack<\/strong> and fragrant herbal teas<\/strong> for good night<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

All enhanced by animated performances<\/strong> centered on the figures of the Morganas, extraordinary and out-of-the-ordinary women, with historical, botanical, artistic and archaeological insights-a<\/strong> theater under the stars.<\/p>\n\n

It is necessary to wear athletic shoes<\/strong> and it is recommended to have a flashlight<\/strong> during the hike.<\/p>\n\n

NuoviMondi<\/h2>\n\n

June 25 to July 5<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

We are also film lovers <\/strong>, so we suggest the NuoviMondi Festival<\/a>, a cultural event created by the initiative of the Kosmoki cultural association<\/strong> and the Municipality of Valloriate<\/strong>, located in the Lands of Monviso<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Originally a Film Festival<\/strong>, it has evolved into a project that actively promotes the mountains<\/strong> and the surrounding area through community participation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Based in Valloriate<\/strong>, a small town with a population of 80<\/strong> in the Stura Valley<\/strong>, the festival aims to generate culture<\/strong> locally instead of just importing it, promoting local appreciation<\/strong> and local networking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The strictly mountainous<\/strong> event celebrates the magic of cinema<\/strong> and artistic connections<\/strong> to explore new visions and ways of experiencing the mountains<\/strong>, addressing issues of human intervention<\/strong> and enhancement of natural spaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

MonfortInJazz<\/h2>\n\n

July 6 to August 3<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

We love music<\/strong>, as does everyone else, so we propose one or more evenings of MonfortInJazz<\/a> at the Horszowsky Auditorium<\/strong>, located in picturesque Monforte d’Alba<\/strong>-one of the most unique<\/strong> locations in the Italian festival<\/strong> scene.<\/p>\n\n

The natural setting of the open-air auditorium<\/strong>, surrounded by the bell tower<\/strong>, theoratory of St. Augustine<\/strong> and the walls of Scarampi Castle<\/strong>, provides a picturesque setting<\/strong> for concerts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

With a seating capacity of 800<\/strong>, the auditorium provides excellent acoustics<\/strong> and visibility<\/strong> from all angles of the cavea<\/strong>, making each concert a unique experience for the audience<\/strong> and performers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Mangialonga<\/h2>\n\n

August 25<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

For August 25<\/strong>, don’t make any plans because the Mangialonga<\/a> <\/strong>in La Morra<\/strong> will be held: a food and wine<\/strong> event celebrating the beauty of the Langhe<\/strong>, a UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Established in 1988<\/strong>, this year celebrates the Marriage of Silica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The event is organized by the “Compagnia dei Vignaioli” to highlight local products<\/strong>, offering participants a non-competitive<\/strong> 5-kilometer route<\/strong> through the vineyards<\/strong>, accompanied by tastings of wines<\/strong> such as Barolo<\/strong>, Nebbiolo<\/strong>, Barbera<\/strong> and Moscato<\/strong>, as well as local cuisine specialties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

You don’t need to be a professional athlete<\/strong>-the important thing is to appreciate food and wine<\/strong> in a festive and convivial<\/strong> environment.<\/p>\n\n

The day culminates with a final party<\/strong> in Vittorio Emanuele Square<\/strong>, enhanced by music<\/strong> and DJ sets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Trekking and cultural walks: Manta Castle and its surroundings<\/h2>\n\n

September 8<\/em><\/h4>\n\n

To end we offer you a gem<\/strong>: against the backdrop of Monviso<\/strong> stands a medieval fortress<\/strong> of severe charm, guarding one of the most astonishing examples of late Gothic secular painting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

It is Manta Castle<\/strong>, located about 40 kilometers from Turin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Founded in the 13th century as a military outpost<\/strong>, the stronghold was transformed in the 15th century into a sumptuous residence thanks to Valerano<\/strong>, lord of the Marquisate of Saluzzo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

FAI<\/strong> organizes nature guides<\/strong> in its surroundings for cultural walks<\/a>, from the garden to the woodland street and the walls, to the Ciuch\u00e8<\/strong>, and in hill treks<\/strong> starting and returning from Manta Castle to the Castiglia di Saluzzo<\/strong> or Verzuolo Castle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
