{"id":2628,"date":"2011-11-13T18:35:49","date_gmt":"2011-11-13T17:35:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.langhe.net\/?p=2628"},"modified":"2014-11-26T11:33:57","modified_gmt":"2014-11-26T10:33:57","slug":"doc-langhe-nebbiolo-2010-ca-neuva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/langhe.net\/en\/2628\/doc-langhe-nebbiolo-2010-ca-neuva\/","title":{"rendered":"Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2010 &#8211; C\u00e0 Neuva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a title=\"DOC Langhe Nebbiolo\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/wines\/doc-langhe-nebbiolo\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\"><strong>Langhe Nebbiolo DOC<\/strong><\/a> is a red wine produced in the province of Cuneo from 100% Nebbiolo grape.<\/p>\n<p>From this grape variety are also made great wines such as the famous Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero, but in the last years the Langhe Nebbiolo (DOC since 1994) succeeded in carving out its space as a wine of good personality.<\/p>\n<p>Among the other noteworthy wines made from <a title=\"Nebbiolo\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/vines\/nebbiolo-en\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\"><strong>Nebbiolo<\/strong><\/a> grape there is also the Gattinara DOCG, which is produced in the province of Vercelli, the Ghemme DOCG, from the province of Novara, and the Carema DOC, from the province of Turin.<\/p>\n<p>Outside Piedmont, the Nebbiolo grape can also be found in the Valtellina area (Lombardy) where it is known as Chiavennasca, from which the red wine Valtellina DOC is made.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"Buy Online This Wine - Langhe Nebbiolo DOC C\u00e0 Neuva\" href=\"http:\/\/shop.langhe.net\/en\/product\/langhe-nebbiolo-doc-caneuva\/\">Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2010<\/a> of the wine cellar <a title=\"C\u00e0 Neuva\" href=\"http:\/\/caneuva.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>C\u00e0 Neuva<\/strong><\/a> in Dogliani is subjected to a process of maceration that lasts 20 days in order to extract colour and tannins. After the alcoholic fermentation the wine is transferred in stainless steel tanks, where it is aged for 14-18 months before being bottled.<\/p>\n<p>The colour is ruby red with garnet nuances, it has an intense floral and fruity nose that is typical for a young but elegant wine. The taste is dry but full-bodied, mildy tannic and intense at the end.<\/p>\n<p>It is an all course wine (13,5% alcohol) but it can be good combined with Piedmontese antipasti, sliced cold meats, <a title=\"Tajarin\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/the-tajarin\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\"><strong>tajarin with ragout<\/strong><\/a>, rabbit, chicken, <a title=\"Mixed fries\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/mixed-fries\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\"><strong>fritto misto<\/strong><\/a> (mixed fry of meat and vegetables) and bollito misto (mixed boiled meat).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Serving at 16-18 \u00b0C<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is a red wine produced in the province of Cuneo from 100% Nebbiolo grape.
