Considered as &#8220;the king of wines&#8221;, it is a well structured red wine, also because of its ability to improve over time.<\/p>\n<p>Produced only using <a title=\"Nebbiolo\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/vines\/nebbiolo-en\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">Nebbiolo<\/a> grapes, this wine is red garnet in colour with orange nuances.<\/p>\n<p>Let it breath for at least one hour before the tasting and serve it in the right glass called &#8220;balloon&#8221; at a middle temperature of 18 degrees. Through the rotation of the wine in the glass we can clearly notice how thick it is, looking at the &#8220;tears&#8221; on the &#8220;balloon&#8221; (due to the amount of alcohol).<\/p>\n<p>The aroma is clean and intense, fruity and slightly spicy, because of its stay in &#8220;Allier&#8221; barrel.<\/p>\n<p>The taste has a good body, dry, well sapid with a bitter ending. It is warm (14.5 of alcohol) and well balanced in tannin\/acid level.<\/p>\n<p>Even if we can consider it as a wine &#8220;ready&#8221; to drink, do not forget that it has a good longevity that makes it better in taste and structure over years.<\/p>\n<p>The Barolo is perfect when combined with tasty red meat dishes such as roasts,<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Boiled meat\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/bollito-misto\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">boiled meat<\/a>, <a title=\"Wild boar\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/boar-with-barolo\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">wild boar<\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0<a title=\"Braised duck\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/braised-duck-chest-with-barolo\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">braised duck<\/a>\u00a0or<a title=\"Roasted kid\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/recipes\/roasted-kid\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">\u00a0roasted kid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is also good as an aperitif or as a sipping wine served with wild boar or barolo salami or with strong cheese like the <a title=\"Castelmagno\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/819\/castelmagno\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">castelmagno<\/a> or the <a title=\"Toma piemontese\" href=\"https:\/\/langhe.net\/976\/toma-piemontese\/?lang=en&amp;lang=en\">piedmontese toma<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Barolo D.o.c.g. 2010\u00a0comes from the Gramolere vinyards, among the beautiful Langhe hills.
