Summer’s just started and it’s time for music. The most important music festivals on our hills are under way. Let’s have a look at the main dates, aside from Collisioni 2015<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Asti Musica<\/h2>\n

We start at\u00a0Asti, in Monferrato, where the Ecofestival delle Note, the 20th edition of Asti Musica<\/a>, will be held from the 1st to the 12th of July<\/strong>. Let’s see the original video presentation:<\/p>\n

There are quite a few musical artists<\/strong> such as Paolo Conte<\/strong>, who returns twenty years after his last performance in Asti; then there\u2019s Umberto Tozzi, a milestone in Italian music; then we change genres with Ensi<\/strong>* and \u00a0Folkstone<\/strong>*. And of course there will be jazz night<\/strong>s with Brass Bang, Danilo Rea<\/strong> and Doctor 3<\/strong>; there\u2019ll also be some rock power<\/strong> with keyboardist Rick Wakeman<\/strong>; and the folk singers<\/strong> will be represented by Carmen Consoli, Mannarino, Arianna Antinori<\/strong>* and Asti\u2019s own Chiara Dello Iacovo<\/strong>* along with Levante<\/strong> from Sicily. In short, an explosive mix of cultures and genres.<\/p>\n

But the Asti Musica does not stop here! On\u00a0Saturday 4<\/a>\u00a0and Sunday 5 July<\/a>\u00a0the 1st edition of the Giorgio Faletti prize<\/strong> will be held in commemoration of the great artist<\/strong> who died last year. There will be many special guests<\/strong> for the occasion: Luciana Litizzetto, Omar Pedrini, Vaporidis, Danilo Amerio and many others.<\/p>\n

It promises to be a festival dedicated to ecology, good music, culture and gluttony, with aperitifs in the piazzas based on\u00a00 km products and organic wines<\/strong>. Absolutely not to be missed!<\/p>\n

Roero Music Fest<\/h2>\n

From 4 to 11 July<\/strong> the spotlight will be on Santa Vittoria d’Alba<\/strong> for an international festival, where young people will have a chance to get up on stage.<\/p>\n

The Roero Music Fest<\/a> this year will be held in both the Confraternita\u00a0amphitheater in Santa Vittoria d’Alba and the municipality of Priocca, to celebrate the union of towns, villages, cultures and all the local culinary delicacies.<\/p>\n
