High Langa

The parish church of San Nazario

in Bosia

The little square of Bosia, a simple widening of the street, is sided by a smaller square in front of the parish church, in a beautiful panoramic position.

This strange position wouldn’t be understood if we didn’t know that there was once a road that went directly from the Belbo river to Cravanzana.

Those who walked along this street would maybe stop and rest for a while, say a little prayer, drink some water (there’s a fountain nearby). The parish church, dedicated to San Nazario, has a beautiful neoclassical facade, of impressive dimensions, especially if compared to the relatively little houses surrounding it.

Once climbed the stairs in front of the portal, it’s possible to see the two big side altars and the beautiful altarpiece inside.

To see the church it’s necessary to go there on Sunday, during the Mass.
